Reporting to the Strategic Lead: Repairs and Maintenance, you will manage our in-house operational Building Maintenance Team, focusing on the delivery of responsive repairs and empty homes by delivering an effective, efficient, and compliant service.
You will be responsible for managing costs, risks, staff, and equipment resources to ensure high levels of satisfaction, value for money, and safe working practices are achieved.
You must have previous experience of managing and developing a team of staff, building maintenance improvement and construction projects, and managing works under contract and sub-contractors as well as your own workforce.
To hold a Level 5 qualification in a building-related discipline is essential for this role, as is previous experience of financial management and interpreting plans/technical drawings.
