What you'll be doing:

• Operate mobile plant equipment to manage waste reception areas and load transport vehicles
• Perform weighbridge operator duties and manage computerized systems
• Load waste materials onto bulk haulage vehicles efficiently
• Operate forklifts for handling process metal skips and unloading deliveries
• Conduct routine maintenance of mobile plant including basic checks and defect reporting
• Manage on-site traffic flow and maintain site cleanliness
• Operate overhead travelling refuse cranes safely
• Support operations staff with routine tasks while ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate, or train to operate, a variety of mobile equipment and fixed plant
• High level of computer literacy
• Familiarity with health & safety procedures
• Able to communicate effectively orally & in writing
• Available and willing to work overtime (paid) when workload demands
• Current mobile plant and fork truck driving qualifications (not essential as training will be given)
