Site Manager – Structural Steel Projects (Nationwide Travel Required)

Location: Nationwide (UK-Wide Projects)

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

My client is a leading specialist in structural steel projects, delivering large-scale, high-profile work across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager who is capable of working across the country on a variety of major steelwork schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage site operations from start to finish on structural steel projects
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and logistics to ensure smooth and safe project delivery
• Maintain high standards of health and safety compliance at all times
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and office teams to meet deadlines and specifications
• Conduct site inductions, manage documentation, and ensure quality control
• Resolve on-site issues and proactively manage daily site activities
• Regular travel nationwide to various project sites as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within the structural steel industry
• Strong knowledge of steel erection and installation methods
• Willingness and ability to travel and work nationwide
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
