Job description

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Programmes & Partnerships Officer for the University’s 100% Online programmes, centrally managed through the Learning Partnerships Office (LPO). LPO manages partnerships, programmes and relationships with external partners, University Departments and Faculties/School and other stakeholders.

We currently offer a hybrid working arrangement with the option of working from home for part of the week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative and quality processes, including the tracking of student progress from enrolment to graduation and fee sponsorship processes.
  • The flexible and complex nature of the student journey will require great attention to detail and vigilance in following the progress and tracking of each student outside of the traditional model of a cohort and academic year based intake.
  • Advising stakeholders (internal and external to the University) on processes and information that underpin the smooth running of the programmes and the partnerships.
  • Data organisation, processing and reporting associated with the online programmes.
  • Work with other team members, Faculties/School and Departments across the University to oversee all aspects of the student and academic administration associated with Online courses.
  • You will ensure that services are efficient, effective and adapt to changing circumstances. This is a busy and varied role which requires you to communicate persuasively and tactfully with internal and external stakeholders and to ensure compliance with necessary regulations/contracts and adherence to frequent milestones in the academic year for data organisation and reporting.
  • You will bring to the role your skills and enthusiasm for working with numbers and data, including some elements of finance.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • excellent and accurate numerical skills, able to collate, manipulate and analyse data/numbers, with demonstrable proficiency in Excel.
  • the ability to assimilate complex and procedural information, regulations and guidelines, and provide accurate advice/report accordingly.
  • a proven track record of excellent organisational skills, adhering to tight deadlines, managing priorities and multi-tasking effectively.
  • the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a busy environment.
  • the ability to learn new systems and procedures rapidly.

Experience of data presentation systems would be an advantage.
