This role is part of our Personalised Content team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalised, digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviours, and shift market share for our clients including eBay, Ancestry, Walmart, and more!

JOB PURPOSE

Our Merchandising team partners with eBay UK to produce a range of tailored shopping experiences.

As Online Merchandiser you will be responsible for prioritising merchandising based on conversion and business performance for promotional and seasonal campaigns. Additionally, you’ll help wireframing, source and curate inventory, launching campaigns, and tracking performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Management of category pages, ensuring site standards are always achieved or exceeded.
  2. Manage client briefs from start to finish - supporting with inventory planning, wireframing, campaign and events builds and QA-ing, ensuring successful delivery to client deadlines across multiple activities.
  3. Build a full understanding of the clients’ content management systems and objectives, advising on the solution that best meets their needs.
  4. Construct the optimum product range for the target market by balancing price architecture, product variety and other parameters.
  5. Source items - uploading, merchandising and continuously optimising events, campaigns and category pages.
  6. To ensure all campaigns and events are prioritised consistently across desktop, mobile and email platforms.
  7. Conduct regular performance analysis and feeding insight and proposed actions into Lead Merchandisers and clients for weekly trading reports.
  8. Conducting trend research and competitor analysis for weekly/quarterly planning.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  1. Minimum of 2 year Merchandising experience, ideally within E-Commerce.
  2. An eye for style and retail trends and an interest in current and upcoming trends.
  3. Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Proven ability to work independently, prioritise, meet deadlines under pressure and make the best use of resources; has a good sense of urgency and measurement of risk.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Ability to take ownership and accountability.
  7. Experience with various CMS and the ability to quickly grasp new processes or learn new tools.
  8. Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.
  9. An understanding of SEO.
  10. Analytical experience.
