Are you an experienced pharmaceutical sales professional with a passion for working in oncology? Lilly is on the hunt for a standout candidate to join our successful oncology sales team.

In this role, you will have the chance to collaborate with a highly skilled and integrated team comprising sales, marketing, PRA, and medical professionals. As an Oncology Hospital Specialist, we will want you to leverage your industry knowledge to identify and engage key healthcare professionals (HCPs) within your territory. Your ability to build and nurture strong relationships will be instrumental in promoting the priorities of our oncology portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Territory Management:

  1. Achieve/Exceed sales targets, through a mixture of focused customer interactions – including face to face, virtual meetings & digital avenues.
  2. Develop & maintain product knowledge of own therapeutic area & appropriate competitor products.
  3. Define, prepare and implement your territory business plan with strong cross-functional collaboration, that is aligned with the brand strategy and maximising execution of key tactics.
  4. Support HCPs by continuing to develop / grow their key capabilities in line with the company culture.
  5. Partner with KAM team, MSL and key head office colleagues to ensure good teamwork and support of the customer base, leading to optimum business achievement.
  6. Demonstrate high integrity & compliance at all times.

Essential Skills:

  1. Winning mindset, desire to win in a highly competitive environment.
  2. Proven track record in identifying and converting business opportunities into growth.
  3. Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and stakeholder management (internal and external).
  4. Excellent demonstration of key capabilities such as in-call selling skills, communication skills, key account management, business planning, personal accountability, flexibility, and desire for success.
  5. Ability to make data-driven decisions that impact the business results.
  6. Proven ability to execute P2P/eP2P meeting programs.
  7. Experienced in developing regional and national thought leaders.
  8. Ability to sell a portfolio of products (preferable but not essential).
  9. Past oncology experience (preferable but not essential).
  10. ABPI Qualified.
  11. Proven track record in Pharmaceutical Sales.
  12. Full UK Driving license.

Additional Information:

  • Position location is based in the South of England with territory specific responsibilities.
  • Travel is primary across the assigned territory in the South of England, with occasional travel outside of the territory as needed.
