Variable Onboard Sales and Services Assistant - Belfast
As an Onboard Sales and Services Assistant at Stena Line, you’ll enjoy working closely with a diverse team who are passionate about exceptional customer service. If you’re excited at the prospect of a work/life balance and an exciting new career then maybe this is your next adventure!

We need welcoming, caring and reliable Onboard Sales and Services Assistants – people who will ensure our guests have such a wonderful experience on board, that they can’t wait to sail with Stena Line again!

Some of your key responsibilities:

  1. Cabins: Ensuring cabins are cleaned thoroughly and in excellent condition prior to our guests’ arrival on board.
  2. Restaurants: Making sure our diners have a fantastic experience by delivering prompt and friendly service, clearing tables, and washing dishes as needed.
  3. Shops: Working the tills and handling customer requests, while ensuring that our shops are clean, tidy and well-stocked.
  4. Deliver exceptional customer service, meeting service standards and CSS goals.
  5. Ensure full compliance with company policies, including service standards and customer experience models.
  6. Oversee stock and cash control, adhering to procedures to minimise wastage, shrinkage, and fraud.
  7. Maintain merchandising plans across all locations.
  8. Uphold corporate policies, including safety, quality, and food safety standards.
  9. Represent the company with pride by adhering to uniform and personal presentation standards.
  10. Create a welcoming environment with a focus on ambience and overall vessel appearance.
  11. Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  12. Support operational tasks across various locations and departments as needed.
  13. Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the vessel, using specified materials and guidelines.
  14. Maximise sales and gross profit by aligning activities with KPI targets.

Requirements:
- Experience working in any of the following sectors: hospitality, customer service, housekeeping or catering
- Be willing to work away from home for up to two weeks at a time
- Over 18 years old
- UK NI number and UK Bank account
