Dublin Onsite Senior AV Technician (Dublin) salary circa £58,000

A leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally.

Our immediate requirement is for an experienced Senior AV Technician to be a key part of our Dublin team, proAV and working onsite, taking full responsibility for providing support of fully integrated conference rooms, boardrooms and large complex environments such as auditoriums. The Technician interfaces daily with the customer and acts as an extension of their team. Their responsibilities generally include the operation and functional testing of all AV and integrated conference room components/equipment. The Technician works in cooperation with the customer's management team in support of their equipment and user community.

Key Responsibilities

1. Act as the senior team member when providing support to the Client's Dublin location.
2. Ensure all audio visual and media services are delivered to the business in a professional and efficient manner.
3. Deliver a 'white glove' level of customer support to all end users.
4. Offer support and assistance to clients both virtually and in person.
5. Drive event support including set up and operation of AV equipment.
6. Evaluating the end user requirements regarding all internal events.
7. Setup and teardown of all scheduled onsite meetings.
8. Provide business as usual support & training to internal and external clients.
9. Assist and support the client in the use of fixed and portable AV equipment.
10. Ensure all video conferencing requirements for the client are met in full.
11. Be the driving force when ensuring all equipment on-site is maintained and kept in working order with all faults reported via the onsite procedures.
12. Liaising with remote offices in respect to the setup of video conferencing calls.
13. Develop and maintain the daily system checks to ensure equipment and room functionality.
14. Perform remote testing for local and regional offices.
15. Carry out first and second line troubleshooting to AV equipment and rooms within time constraints.
16. Work closely with the helpdesk and field service engineers, where required.
17. Perform other AV-related tasks as directed by the client.
18. Work closely with the Multi-Media Team Manager to develop and introduce a team shift pattern.
19. Work closely with various manufacturers to arrange and repair system equipment.
20. Maintain total confidentiality relating to information received for presentations and broadcasts etc.
21. Follow daily handover processes where required to ensure support continues.

Experience Required

1. Experience of leading an onsite AV team.
2. Experience of supporting a variety of AV spaces.
3. Strong working knowledge of industry standard video conferencing platforms.
4. Strong working knowledge and exposure to industry standard VMR service providers.
5. Experience of working with corporate VIP's.
6. Experience of running the AV aspect of presentations for high profile meetings.
7. Be organised and flexible with the ability to approach different types of tasks during the working day.
8. Excellent customer service skills with previous experience of dealing with 'ALL' level executives advantageous.
9. Being able to prioritise and work under pressure is essential.
10. Be competent to a high level of computer literacy.
