Job description

Born in Yokohama, Chef Endo Kazutoshi is a third-generation sushi master, dedicated to the centuries-old Edomae style of sushi. Drawing inspiration from his father and grandfather, Endo seamlessly blends creativity and consistency, heritage, and innovation. At his debut restaurant, located on the top floor of the former Television Centre in White City, Chef Endo delivers a dining experience that is both immersive and intimate.

We are looking for a charismatic and engaging Maitre’d to join our team at Endo at the Rotunda. This is not your traditional Maitre’d role—it's a hybrid position that blends reception and floor service in our intimate omakase-style dining experience.

You will be the first point of contact for our guests, greeting them downstairs, setting the tone for their experience, and entertaining them with warmth and hospitality. Once they step into our space, you’ll transition seamlessly into the service, ensuring they feel truly looked after from start to finish.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a highly personable environment, where engaging with guests and creating memorable moments is at the heart of what we do.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in high-end hospitality, ideally in fine dining or omakase service
  • Confidence in both welcoming guests and assisting with service
  • Passion for delivering thoughtful, tailored guest experiences
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a high-end, fine dining environment with Michelin star credentials is required. The candidate must have a proven track record of elevating restaurant standards to the highest levels.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service and guest satisfaction.
  • Passion: A genuine passion for creating outstanding dining experiences and a deep appreciation for culinary arts.
  • Legal Right to Work: Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the nature of the business.
