Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Office Supervisor based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
What you will do:
Applications are invited from enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals for the post of Office Supervisor in the Medical Imaging Department at Crosshouse Hospital.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You should have an HNC in Business Administration or be able to demonstrate experience to an equivalent level and experience of working in an admin team within the NHS is necessary.
You will have an excellent standard of IT literacy and be competent in the use of MS office applications. Familiarity with Excel is necessary in order to support the work of the Waiting List Coordinator and be able to produce accurate statistics in their absence.
Day to day duties will include supervision and allocation of work to clerical staff, you will be required to provide induction to new staff members and monitor their training.
Excellent computer skills and customer care is essential as is the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
Hours:
The hours of duty are 18.5 hours per week. The post is based at University Hospital Crosshouse, travel to other sites will be required though and could be at short notice.
Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
A car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
