Job Title: Office Assistant / Administrator

Location: Rainham Steel Co Ltd, Essex (RM13 9PF)

Job type: Full Time

The role:

As a result of ongoing growth and expansion, Rainham Steel, a leading UK steel stockholder, requires a full-time permanent Office Assistant / Administrator for immediate start. Working at their Head office based in Rainham, Essex.

Overseas candidates will NOT be considered for this role. We are not sponsoring visas at this time, so please refrain from applying unless eligible to work in the UK.

The Candidate:

  • The ideal candidate must be reliable.
  • Someone who has a great eye for detail, is highly organised with their approach, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • You should be able to work under pressure with the ability to prioritise workloads and multitask.
  • Confident and polite telephone manner with an excellent command of the English language.
  • Good interpersonal skills to be able to deal with people at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Basic administrative duties including emails, post, scanning, and filing documents.
  • Answering the main switchboard and directing calls.
  • Full training will be given on in-house computer systems.
  • Promotion and career development opportunities.

  • 25 days holiday.

  • Staff parking.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm.
