Ocean Export Operator – Freight Forwarding

Location: Basildon, Essex

Salary: £28,000 – £34,000 (DOE)

Job Type: Full Time

From You:

1. 3+ years’ experience in Sea Export Freight Forwarding and have a working knowledge and experience in processing export customs entries using CDS.
2. Handling FCL and LCL shipments from start to finish including customs clearance, raising, and checking documentation.
3. Great communication skills and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

The Role:

1. Quoting overseas agents and UK customers.
2. Interact with UK customers and overseas agents to arrange shipments.
3. Provide customer updates and respond to customer requests.
4. Arranging transport and client updates.
5. Providing quotes to overseas agents.
6. Invoicing.
7. Cross trade Sea freight LCL and FCL shipments.
