Position Overview

We are currently looking for a qualified and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our agency at Sirona Medical Social Work department. The Reablement team positively impacts individuals' lives following illness, injury, loss of confidence or hospital admission. The service is led by Occupational Therapists, alongside Occupational Therapy Assistants and Support Workers. You will work proactively with customers in their own homes to achieve greater independence, promote their well-being and minimise long-term care needs. You will conduct strengths-based assessments, and work with customers and their families to design and implement creative reablement plans to enable them to achieve their goals.

Qualifications

1. BA Honors or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
2. HCPC Registration
3. Eligibility to work in the UK
4. Full UK driver's license and access to vehicle
5. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Occupational Therapy
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
7. Empathetic, patient-centered approach with a dedication to providing high-quality care.
8. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
