Occupational Therapist - Community Adults

Occupational Therapist - Community Adults in Smethwick earning £30 per hour. This exciting and ongoing opportunity awaits talented individuals ready to make an impact in the community. Join a dynamic team committed to enhancing the lives of adults through comprehensive occupational therapy services. Our roles are full-time with standard hours from 9:00 - 17:30 Monday to Thursday and 9:00 - 17:00 on Friday (37 hours per week), offering the flexibility to tailor your schedule with potential part-time options.

What you will do:

  1. Conduct occupational therapy assessments for vulnerable adults across the borough.
  2. Evaluate and recommend provision of equipment as well as minor and major adaptations.
  3. Collaborate closely with social work colleagues and other professional agencies.
  4. Provide flexible services that meet service users' needs within budget constraints.
  5. Demonstrate and advise on the use of equipment, adaptations, and assistive technology.

Applicants must be HCPC registered, possess their own vehicle, and be able to travel around the borough.
