Occupational Health Technician (Onsite)

OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Technician to join a leading Occupational Health Provider, in a Full-Time Permanent role. This exciting site-based opportunity will see you join a multidisciplinary team in Helensburgh.

The Role:

This role offers the ideal chance for an experienced Occupational Health Technician to provide an on-site Occupational Health Screening Service as part of a first-class Occupational Health team. Your duties will include:

• Deliver Health Screening including Baseline Measurements (Height, Weight, BP and Urinalysis)
• Undertake Health Surveillance, and fitness-for-work medicals (including Audiometry & Spirometry)
• Deliver Health and Wellbeing promotion & advice
• Maintain all employee records with accurately recorded medical information
• Ensure all clinic equipment is clean, well-maintained, and in proper working condition

Required Skills:

To be the successful Occupational Health Technician candidate for this role, you'll be:

• Previously experienced working within an Occupational Health setting is preferred
• Suitable backgrounds include: Hospital Health Care Assistant; Fitness Instructor; Ambulance EMT; Military Medic; Offshore Medic.
• Friendly and approachable with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in IT and digital systems.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
• Knowledgeable about patient confidentiality and data protection.
• Strong educational background with good numeracy and written English skills.
• Able to work under supervision and aware of professional boundaries.
