Responsibilities

  1. Complete health assessments and initial injury intake.
  2. Perform routine medical tasks associated with medical screenings and health assessments.
  3. Monitor patient vitals, behaviors, and assist in medical emergencies that may occur on company premises such as accidents, injuries, sudden illnesses, etc.
  4. Co-Administrator of the Hearing Conservation Program.
  5. Perform the administration of drug and alcohol screening.
  6. Perform direct and indirect care for our employees' overall wellness needs.
  7. Provide assistance with maintaining medical records.
  8. Any other custodial task as assigned by the Occupational Nurse.
  9. Active leadership role on the Wellness Team and Wellness Projects.
  10. Assist with OSHA recordkeeping.

Qualifications

  1. EMT or Licensed Practical Nurse Degree is preferred.
  2. Bachelor's Degree in Health Related Field is preferred.
  3. At least three years of health experience in an industrial setting is preferred.
  4. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  5. Good organizational skills with ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  6. Experience generating positive communication is required along with a genuine caring attitude.
  7. Ability to work independently.
  8. Ability to work all shifts.
  9. Must be willing to further education and training to perform essential tasks as required.
  10. Computer knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  11. Working knowledge of Pharmacology.
  12. Hearing Conservation Certification is preferred.
  13. Knowledge of DOT guidelines is preferred.
