Location: Worksop
Salary: £36,406 (£22,138.79 pro-rata) per annum + benefits
Hours: 22.5 hours per week (all year round)

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Health Practitioner to work within the Human Resources Team. The role of Occupational Health Practitioner is to promote and support the Health & Wellbeing of the employees of the Group, providing occupational health surveillance, health screening and health promotion advice and guidance. Working closely with Human Resources and Health & Safety teams to provide a safe working environment.
As an Occupational Health Practitioner, you will support their employees by carrying out pre-employment reviews for new starters, ensuring that their workforce have appropriate support, if required, to be successful in their roles. You will work with the HR team, managers and employees to constantly review the health support and health promotion, to their employees, offering advice, signposting and making suitable recommendations where appropriate.
As Occupational Health Practitioner you will lead and/or participate in groups that support the promotion of Health & Wellbeing of staff including Mental Health First Aiders. You will work closely with the Health and Safety Team to improve the provision of First Aid in addition to increasing the skills and confidence of the Group appointed First Aiders.

The role of the Occupational Health Practitioner will be part of the Human Resources Team, managed by a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). You will have support of an Administrator and will work closely with the HR Officers on absence management and the wider HR team on appropriate health initiatives.
