Occupational Health Nurse

• Position: Occupational Health Nurse
• Hours: Full time - possible hybrid working
• Contract type: Permanent
• Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 per annum + EXCELLENT BENEFITS

About the service:
We are delighted to be recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join a market leading provider of occupational health services. The role is working at one of their clients sites in Barrow-in-Furness and will be joining part of a supportive and progressive team. This is a great position for an experienced Occupational Health nurse to join a company that takes pride in the strong partnerships it has developed with their clients and work for a team that are passionate about providing person centred care. We are looking for a like-minded and driven Occupational Health Nurse to join on a permanent basis.

About the role:

• Professional support and guidance to employees on site
• Clinical assessment of clients presenting minor illness and injury
• Wellbeing assessments, health promotion, safety critical medicals, travel assessments
• Assessing fitness to work for the appropriate job role
• Health surveillance

Who we're looking for:

• Registered Nurse - valid NMC UK pin with no restrictions
• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health preferable
• At least 1 years experience in Occupational Health setting
• Experience in A&E/ intensive care/ GP surgeries will also be considered
• Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation

Person Specification: All applicants for the role of Occupational Health Nurse must be a Registered Nurse in the UK and have at least 1 years UK Occupational Health experience. Applicants must have full eligibility to live and work in the UK.
