Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (Part 1) required with experience in A&E or intensive care.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health legislation is essential.

Location: Bridgwater
Salary: Competitive Salary
Working Hours: Monday - Wednesday (8pm - 4pm)

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our clients collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Our client is one of the UK's leading Occupational Health organisations, supporting the health and wellbeing of over 2.5 million employees across the UK workforce.

This role requires an ability to assess and manage minor injury and illness, deliver health and wellbeing initiatives, and work with external organisations and other healthcare professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Providing health surveillance and manage escalations via the Occupational Health Technicians.
  2. Providing professional advice, support and guidance.
  3. Assessing new clients presenting to Occupational Health.
  4. Assessing individuals' fitness to work for the appropriate job role.
  5. Providing clinical assessment of clients presenting with minor illness and injury.
  6. Supporting the Senior OH Advisor to advise, monitor and assess the clinical practice of the OH team.
  7. Ensuring clinical assessment skills are maintained in line with best practice.

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Experience working within A&E/intensive care.
  2. Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation.
  3. Registered Nurse (Part 1).
  4. Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Occupational Health Diploma.
