An opportunity has arisen to join the Occupational Health Shared Service providing a front line service to the staff at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire.
You will be a key part of a small team, an excellent communicator, organised and with a flexible team working approach. You must be confident to work on your own initiative, sometimes alone, but within a supportive team structure. Responsibilities will include daily organisation and running of screening, vaccination and lifestyle clinics for staff; involvement with local health and well being related campaigns. Willingness to liaise with other specialities as required. Although the main base will be at UHCW, a willingness to work flexibly is key in support of the wider team in the provision of the Shared Service. OH experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
Please note this post is not suitable for applicants who are required to undertake the OSCE training programme. Applicants who do not have current valid UK NMC registration will not be considered for this post.
To deliver full client centred pre-employment and vaccination OH clinic service to clients and customers of the Occupational health shared service (OHSS) maintaining client contact as needed and referring on, or following up where appropriate.
Undertake health surveillance work in accordance with the needs of all contracts (internal and external). This will require travel to external contract sites across Coventry and Warwickshire.
To support the wider multidisciplinary OH team in assisting in the delivery of health and wellbeing campaign days and lifestyle screening as part of the wider health and wellbeing agenda for Trust staff.
Experience in venepuncture and vaccine administration is sought where possible but training will be given if you do not have this.
