We have a superb opportunity for an Occupational Health Advisor to work for an industry leading Healthcare company called PAM Group. PAM Group provides Occupational Health services to a number of well-known companies, brands & local authorities across the UK.

To be considered for the role you MUST have:

1. Hold a valid NMC PIN Number - No restrictions
2. Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health
3. Experience in providing occupational health in a similar sector.
4. Minimum of 6 months UK based work experience

About the role:

1. Provide a high-quality occupational health nursing service to client's employees and managers, conducting case management, screening, and clinical requirements for the business.
2. Hybrid working - mix of onsite clinics and homeworking to be discussed.
3. Good experience of full OH remit including health surveillance, health promotion, and wellbeing engagement.
4. Mixed clinics – medicals and referrals. New starter employment screens, SC medicals, telephone assessments. Supporting Clinical Lead in the delivery of all OH services as well as wellbeing initiatives collaboratively with clients. Working as part of a dedicated resource alongside OHTs, physios, and admin team for one client.

Daily duties:

1. Contribute towards safe working practices across the OH Delivery team.
2. Conduct Health Assessments, reporting on the outcomes within agreed PAM OH standards, policies and procedures, and NMC guidelines.
3. Manage Health Records ensuring safe storage, security, and confidentiality of all OH records, at all times complying with relevant legislation and good practice.
4. Produce management reports as required.
5. Actively promote fitness for work, both preventative and rehabilitative, raising the profile of OH amongst all levels of employees and management.
6. The post holder will work with a number of clients in a home-based or peripatetic role within an agreed geographical region.
7. You will be expected to contribute to the business success and work closely with clients to deliver Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health.
8. Some travelling as part of the role may be necessary; however, PAM will always look to minimize this.

Requirements:

1. Hold a valid NMC PIN Number.
2. Experience in providing occupational health in a similar sector.
3. Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health.
4. The post holder will demonstrate above-average skills and competence in case management and providing advice in relation to work on health and health on work.
5. The ability to carry out health screening including audiometry, spirometry, general medicals, and drug & alcohol screening.
6. Knowledge of UK legislation and guidance on fitness for work and safety at work.
7. Demonstrate a working understanding of relevant employment law in an occupational health context.
8. Registered Nurse.
9. Qualified / Experienced in Health Surveillance.
10. Good understanding of Microsoft packages, and comfortable in the use of OH software.
