Job Title: Nursing Home Manager

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £75,000 plus bonus

Job Description:

Purosearch is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursing home facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a commitment to quality care, and the ability to manage staff effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the daily operations of the nursing home to ensure high standards of care
2. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
3. Manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and care quality
5. Handle budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation
6. Maintain relationships with residents and their families, addressing any concerns or needs
7. Coordinate with healthcare providers and other external parties
8. Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents and staff

Required Skills:

1. Proven experience in a managerial role within a nursing home or similar healthcare setting
2. Strong leadership and team management skills
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
4. In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices
5. Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and resource allocation
6. Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations
7. Compassion and dedication to improving resident care and wellbeing

Qualifications:

1. A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in healthcare management or nursing
2. Valid nursing license (if applicable)
3. Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
