Nursing Home Manager
Location: Southampton, UK
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a medium-sized nursing home in Southampton, providing high-quality nursing, dementia, and residential care. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Care Home Manager to lead a dedicated team in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead and inspire a team to deliver person-centred care.
  2. Ensure CQC compliance and high care standards.
  3. Develop and review individual care plans.
  4. Manage budgets and operational resources.
  5. Build positive relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders.
  6. Promote the home locally to maintain occupancy levels.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience as a Care Home Manager in a nursing home setting.
  2. NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care Management or equivalent.
  3. Strong knowledge of CQC regulations.
  4. Leadership, communication, and budget management skills.
  5. Nursing qualification preferred but not essential.
