About Our Home:

Murrayfield Care Home in Edmonton is a tranquil care home located in a peaceful residential area. Our purpose-built care facility boasts 74 spacious bedrooms, inviting lounges, a convenient shop, beautifully landscaped gardens, and a serene bird-watching area. Whether you’re enjoying activities in our lounges, shopping at our on-site store, or simply relishing the outdoors, you’ll feel right at home.

We are currently working on a fantastic role for an experienced Nursing Home Manager to manage our 74-bed Nursing and Residential Care Home in Edmonton - Murrayfield Care Home.

Home Manager Package:

  • Starting Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on experience
  • Generous Annual Bonus

What is the role?

  • Ensuring high-quality service is provided to our residents
  • Building and maintaining occupancy
  • Recruiting, training, and retaining a professional and experienced staff team
  • Compliance with CQC, business governance, and operational policies and procedures
  • Managing home profit and loss while working within a set budget
  • Promoting marketing ideas to grow the reputation of the Home

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

  • A proven track record in managing successful CQC good-rated care homes, backed by a qualification such as level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care
  • Compassionate yet assertive, with the ability to inspire and implement positive changes and continuous improvement in the quality of care
  • Experience in day-to-day operational management, employee motivation, and commercial drive
  • Experience in executing action plans to increase occupancy
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently while managing and leading large staffing teams to meet CQC requirements and clients' personal needs
  • Diploma level 5 in Health and Social Care
  • Registered Nurse Certification is desired but not essential
