This is an exciting time to join Secure Care Services at Northgate Park, Morpeth due to developments within the service.
We are looking for a motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic Nursing Assistants with excellent values to support adults with complex mental health needs in a secure care setting.
We currently have 2 band 3 Nursing Assistant vacancies within Sycamore Medium secure unit within the mental health pathway.
One post is on Harthope which is a 10 bedded assessment and treatment ward for men who present with acute mental health conditions who either have offended or displayed offending type behaviour and pose a significant danger to themselves or the public.
The second post is on Berwick ward which is a 16 bed rehabilitation ward for men with mental health conditions who after assessment require treatment and rehabilitation within a secure setting.
The successful applicants will work within a multi-disciplinary team assisting in the development and implementation of collaborative, needs based care plans. They will support the team in providing excellent and effective person-centred care and will, as part of the inpatient team, be visible and accessible to patients, families and carers working together to ensure efficient, effective and caring services.
You must have a strong commitment to the delivery of high quality, safe, patient care and be a good role model in reflecting the Trust's core values. You will be provided with training opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills, offered regular supervision and support and have ongoing well-being conversations.
