Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons to nursery-aged children
Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and develop
Monitor and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
Attend meetings and training sessions as required
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with nursery-aged children
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching nursery-aged children
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of early childhood development principles
Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
Strong classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications in Early Years Education
Experience with special educational needs (SEN) children
Working Conditions:
Work primarily indoors in a nursery school setting
Full-time hours with occasional evening or weekend work for events or meetings
Interact with children, parents, and other staff members on a daily basis
