Nursery Teacher
  • Daily Rate: £150 - £250
  • Location: Hillingdon
  • Job Type: Full-time, Long-term Temporary (potential for permanent in September)

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Hillingdon. This role is set to begin in April for the summer term, with the potential to become a permanent position from September. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and ready to contribute positively to our dynamic team.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver educational activities that foster the intellectual and social development of children.
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages children to explore and learn.
  • Assess children’s progress and provide feedback to parents and caregivers.
  • Maintain daily records and ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate educational activities.
  • Participate in school events and activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Early Years Teacher Status (EYT), Early Years Professional Status (EYPS), or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience in early childhood education.
  • Strong understanding of the early years curriculum and child development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
