Horizon Teachers are delighted to be working with a Primary School based in Lewisham, assisting in their search for a Nursery Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a long-term basis.

The Role

1. Full-time EYFS teacher taking full ownership of a nursery class with a team of qualified and unqualified teaching assistants.
2. Aid the development of each child's personal, social, emotional development as well as their academic progression.
3. Ensure the progress of every child including those with SEND and more able pupils.
4. Assess, record and report on development, progress and attainment for every pupil in the class.
5. Communicate and consult with parents and staff, evaluating own teaching critically to improve effectiveness.
