Job description

Nursery Teacher - Start After Easter!


I am looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join our vibrant early years setting, supporting a class of 23 wonderful children. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to nurture young minds, create engaging learning experiences, and foster a love for learning in a supportive and welcoming environment.


Role Overview:
  1. Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
  2. Support children's early development, ensuring a safe and stimulating learning environment.
  3. Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff to provide high-quality education and care.
  4. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  5. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining records and planning next steps.

The Ideal Candidate:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) (or equivalent).
  2. Experience working within an early years setting.
  3. A nurturing and patient approach to supporting young learners.
  4. Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
  5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
