Nursery Teacher - Streatham - Immediate Start
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Streatham is seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team. Role Overview

Position: Nursery Teacher
Location: Streatham
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: M1 - M4 (Dependent on Experience)

The ideal candidate will:

1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent early years teaching qualification
2. Have experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
3. Be passionate about early childhood development and learning through play
4. Be confident in delivering the EYFS curriculum, ensuring children make progress in all areas
5. Have a creative and engaging teaching approach to inspire young learners
6. Be committed to building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
7. Have a positive and nurturing approach, fostering independence and curiosity in young children

Your Responsibilities

1. Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons following the EYFS curriculum
2. Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity
3. Support children in developing key communication, social, and early literacy and numeracy skills
4. Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and parents to ensure every child's individual needs are met
5. Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback and adapting teaching where necessary
6. Promote a safe, happy, and structured learning environment for all children
