Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week across 4 days)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team and lead the 1–2 year old room, providing high-quality care and education to our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and delivery of a developmentally appropriate, engaging, and inclusive curriculum in line with the EYFS framework for children aged 1–2 years
  • Provide high standards of care, teaching, and learning in a supportive and stimulating environment
  • Supervise, mentor, and support a team of early years practitioners in the 1–2 year old room
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development, working closely with parents and carers
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and health and safety policies at all times

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
  • Significant experience working with children aged 1–2 years in a nursery setting
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, particularly in relation to the developmental needs of children in this age group
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a small team
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
