Nursery Room Leader

You MUST hold a full and relevant Early Years and childcare qualification at Level 3 or above

Megalo Recruit are looking for a Qualified Level 3 Nursery Room Leader to join one of their nursery settings in Guildford, Surrey GU1, GU5 postcode areas.

The hours of work are all year round, either 36, 40, 41 or 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a shift pattern basis, working 4 or 5 days per week. PLEASE ASK ON APPLICATION.

There is a vacancy in the baby room currently, so experience of leading a team in either of these age groups is essential. Currently 21 babies in the room.

Great salary of between £25,500 pa to £27,500 pa, depending upon role, experience and qualifications.

What skills/qualifications do you need for this role?

1. NNEB or a full and relevant Early Education and Childcare qualification (e.g. NVQ/Diploma/BTEC) Level 3 or higher (NOT HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE)
2. Good/Solid knowledge of the EYFS, Safeguarding and Health and Safety
3. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
4. Experience of running a large childcare room is essential
5. Liaise with and develop good relationships with parents and staff
