The Park Nursery promises to be just that! We're rated 9.6 out of 10 by parents on Day Nurseries with most recent reviews saying things like “Our daughter went to The Park between the ages of one and four and it really is a wonderful nursery. The staff are so caring and lovely, and we were completely relaxed about leaving our little one there” and “My children formed great bonds with their respective key workers, which made them feel safe and happy going in every day”.

We are dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can grow and develop to their full potential. So, if you're someone who already leads a team and want to build on your experience or want to take on a Room Leader role for the first time - now is the time to get in touch.

As Room Leader, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of your room, take responsibility for the care, well-being and safety of all children and staff, and be approachable for parents and colleagues. You'll also play an active role in the senior management team, help to induct, train, coach, mentor and supervise Nursery Practitioners, and ensure that high standards of care and education are maintained at all times.

  2. A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Early Years Educator, or equivalent).
  3. Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and current childcare legislation.
  4. Excellent leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  5. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  6. A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
  7. First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications are highly desirable.

So, if you're passionate about early years education and have a genuine desire to provide the best possible experience for every child in our care, this is a great opportunity to develop yourself professionally in an environment that nurtures staff including a thorough induction programme and ongoing training.

In return, you can expect an industry-leading salary, plus excellent benefits including:
