The Job Role

Educated Recruitment are looking for a Teignmouth based Nursery Practitioner for a placement in a primary school nursery starting after the Easter Holidays until 25th July. This is a full time supply placement.

We cover day to day, short term and long-term supply, and are always on the look out for Primary teachers, secondary teachers, cover supervisors, HLTAs and Teaching assistants to join our team.

Please note: Our standard daily pay rate as a supply teacher recruitment business starts at £90 for Nursery Practitioners but could be negotiated up until £150 based on experience and qualifications. For longer term placements with additional responsibilities, daily pay rate for a teaching assistant could be negotiated up to £100, at the discretion of school budgets.

Nursery Practitioner Responsibilities

• Supporting the class teacher
• Following safeguarding and school policies
• Working 1:1 or with whole classes
• Liaising with school staff

Nursery Practitioner Essentials

• Previous experience working alongside children
• Knowledge of the curriculum
• A current DBS, or Update Service subscription (the agency can apply for this)
• A 3 year minimum reference history
• Reliability
• Excellent communication skills
• Located close to Teignmouth or within commuting distance
