Nursery Practitioner & Apprentice Opportunities - Hursley, Winchester
Nurse Seekers is delighted to be recruiting for passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioners, Apprentices, and Unqualified Nursery Nurses for a fantastic nursery in Hursley, Winchester.

About the Role

As part of a welcoming and supportive team, you will play a vital role in fostering children's learning and growth. Whether you are a Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner, an Apprentice, or an Unqualified Nursery Nurse eager to begin your career, there is an opportunity for you. A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is desirable but not essential for apprentices and unqualified candidates.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children's learning and development.
  2. Provide high-quality care and education in line with EYFS guidelines.
  3. Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  4. Observe, assess, and record children's progress, ensuring individual development is supported.
  5. Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment.
  6. Work effectively as part of a team with excellent communication skills.

Requirements
  1. Qualified candidates: Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Childcare Qualification (or equivalent).
  2. Apprentices & Unqualified candidates: A keen interest in childcare and a willingness to learn.
  3. Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety practices (training provided).
  4. Passionate about working with children and supporting their development.
  5. A caring, nurturing, and positive attitude.
  6. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
