Job Title – Nursery Nurse – Level 2 and 3 Needed

Salary – £16k – £18k

Location – Saffron Walden

Our client is recruiting a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Nurse who is caring, willing, and able to work as part of a team, as well as independently, and can use their own initiative. The role involves meeting the children’s everyday needs and following the daily routines within the rooms.

Our client is a small children’s nursery, providing care for no more than twelve children per day, in a unique home-from-home environment. Based in a private home in Strethall and located on a farm, four miles from Saffron Walden, the children enjoy plenty of fresh air and exercise. Ages range from three months to three years, and they believe children of this age group need plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day.

We are looking for someone with an excellent knowledge of the EYFS who is able to plan and provide appropriate activities to support the children in their development, based on their individual needs and interests to help them reach their Early Learning Goals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high standards of quality within the nursery, including the environment, resources, and experiences offered to the children.
• Possess excellent safeguarding knowledge and be able to follow the correct procedures regarding any concerns about children and staff.
• Be responsible for health and safety throughout the nursery and ensure the cleanliness of the nursery is maintained to a high standard.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Level 2 or Level 3 in childcare
• First aid trained
• Safeguarding training
