Position: Nursery Nurse (Level 2 or above in Early Years)

Location: Leicester

Salary: Level 2 - £12.27 per hour | Level 3 - £12.43 per hour

Platinum Recruitment is partnering with a reputable childcare provider in Leicester who is looking for a passionate Nursery Nurse with a Level 2 or above in Early Years to join their dedicated team. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care, support, and engaging learning experiences for children, ensuring their individual needs are met in a fun and nurturing environment.

1. Flexible working hours: Our client’s nurseries are open between 7:30 am – 6:00 pm, and shifts are within this window. They also offer the option to work full-time hours over 4 days.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Full-time, permanent contract
2. Level 2 or above in Early Years is required
3. Promote high standards of care and quality in the nursery environment
4. Take on key carer responsibilities for designated children
5. Plan and deliver stimulating activities that support the development of children
6. Assist with preparing and supporting children’s daily activities
7. Take day-to-day management responsibilities in the absence of the Team/Room Leader
8. An enhanced DBS will be required for this position
9. Ensure compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements
10. Support and mentor students and unqualified staff, ensuring high-quality care and education standards
