Nursery Manager Walk in the Park Nursery Derby

Are you a passionate and experienced Early Years professional ready to lead a brand new nursery? Our client is seeking a dynamic and inspiring Nursery Manager to join their team at Walk in the Park Nursery. As a key member of the management team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our nursery.

Key Responsibilities for Nursery Manager:

1. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursery
2. Ensuring the highest standards of childcare and education are maintained
3. Managing and motivating a team of dedicated staff
4. Building strong relationships with parents and carers
5. Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and EYFS framework
6. Implementing and maintaining robust safeguarding procedures
7. Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment

Essential Requirements:

1. Minimum of 2 years' recent experience within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
2. Previous management experience desirable
3. Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
4. Strong leadership and management skills
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Proven experience in Ofsted compliance
7. A passion for early childhood education and child development
