Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing high-quality childcare. This role requires effective communication with staff, parents, and children, ensuring a nurturing and educational environment for all.
Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Lead and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive work environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns.
• Develop and implement educational programmes that promote early childhood development.
• Oversee the planning and execution of activities that engage children in learning through play.
• Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance.
• Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's reputation within the community.
• Ensure that the nursery is well-resourced and that equipment is maintained to a high standard.
• Ability to increase occupancy of the nursery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in childcare or early years education, preferably in a nursery setting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• A background in early childhood education is highly desirable.
• Experience working with children of various ages, demonstrating an understanding of their developmental needs.
• Ability to drive initiatives that promote a positive learning environment for children.
