Nursery: 48 placement Outstanding rated

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £45000-£50000 P/A

Qualification: NVQ/Cache Level 3 or equivalent

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager who is ready for a greater challenge. You will be responsible for managing your nursery setting, including:

  1. Delivering an Early Years curriculum which incorporates Montessori, HighScope, and EYFS
  2. Creating a warm and welcoming environment for parents and children
  3. Recruiting, developing, and managing a team of up to 12 staff
  4. Selling the nursery to new parents, including conducting viewings
  5. Responding to all enquiries, both internal and external, in a timely manner
  6. Ongoing nursery communications with parents, including weekly newsletters
  7. Operational planning
  8. Budgetary management and reporting
  9. Building excellent relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  10. Promoting child welfare and ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed
  11. Contributing to the reputation of our clients Nursery Group

What you will bring

  1. Experience as Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager
  2. NVQ/Cache Level 3 Diploma in Early Years, NNEB, Montessori Diploma, Early Years Degree, or QTS
  3. Strong knowledge of EYFS and children's learning and development
  4. Leadership acumen
  5. Excellent staff management skills
  6. Experience in dealing with external organisations
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication
  8. Self-motivation, innovation, and a positive outlook
  9. Strong planning, budgeting, and organisational skills
  10. Lots of energy; and above all,
  11. A passion for delivering amazing educational experiences to children
