Nursery Manager

Recruiting for a fantastic nursery in Henley that is part of a small successful chain. In your role as Nursery Manager, you will be joining a quality-driven company.

What you can expect for the Nursery Manager role in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire:

• £38K - £41K per annum
• £2500 joining bonus on completion of probation period
• 30 days holiday plus bank holidays

Requirements of the Nursery Manager in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire:

• Hold minimum level 3 childcare qualification
• Either 4 years as a Third in charge or 1 year as a Deputy manager/manager
• Experience leading a team within an early years setting
• Good communication skills
• Good knowledge of the EYFS

Duties and responsibilities:

• Actively promote and support the protection of children and young people in the workplace, ensuring that all staff and volunteers observe nursery policies and procedures to keep children safe from harm.
• Help lead and support staff to implement the EYFS.
• Monitor and evaluate practice within playrooms to support improvements.
• Work with parents/carers of all children to achieve full integration in the nursery.
• Foresee the needs of all children, families, and staff and give wellbeing guidance as appropriate.
• Support all staff and lead a good staff team with high morale.
• Liaise with and support parents/carers and other family members.
• Promote the high standards of the nursery at all times to parents, staff, and visitors.
