Nursery Manager

Bamboo Childcare are recruiting for a Nursery Manager for an 80 place setting in the Bristol area.

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hrs per week Monday to Friday.

In order to be considered for the role of Nursery Manager in the Bristol area you will need:

• A passionate and positive attitude
• Manager, or significant Deputy experience from a high performing early years setting.
• Strong understanding of the curriculum and ability to train staff in this area
• A full and relevant level 3 childcare qualification
• Level 2 maths qualification or achieve one within two years of starting the position
• Knowledge and understanding of key legislation related to childcare and education
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• A positive attitude, good initiative, confident and approachable

The role of Nursery Manager will include:

• Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
• Ensuring health, safety and well-being of the children at all times
• Carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships of children and their families according to the curriculum
• Overseeing the smooth running and high quality practice across the Nursery
• Leading on planning
• Dealing with outside agencies
