Description - Third in Charge with Deputy Manager (Maternity Cover)
This is a full time, working 38 hours over 4 days a week, permanent role.
Are you looking to work for a vibrant, small but growing Group, with opportunities to develop your career and offer children a whole host of valuable experiences along the way?
Currently looking for a new team member to join a chain of Day Nurseries that offer high-quality early years provision across two sites in and around Rugby. Children thrive from the encouragement and support they receive from our excellent team, and with plenty of outdoor play they even have wellies as part of their uniform!
The nursery is located in the town centre, with the children very much involved in the community. We enjoy walks to the local park and visits to the library. We take the children to the shops, buying ingredients for the next baking or craft activity, and visiting a local care home.
Job Summary
We are seeking a third in charge for our 70-place setting in Rugby town centre. The suitable candidate will be welcome to start as soon as practicable, to allow for a smooth transition before the deputy manager starts their maternity leave.
You will assist in the leadership and management of the nursery, helping to lead the team towards attaining outstanding provision for our children. You will support the manager and deputy manager and take charge in their absence. You will have a passion for childcare and the differences that early years practitioners make to a child's development.
This role will suit an experienced nursery practitioner ready to take on additional responsibility. Support from existing group managers, deputies, and senior staff will be tailored to your needs. You will also be expected to collaborate with other group nurseries in progressing our internal strategy and promoting a consistently high standard of care across all sites.
Salary
Starting at £27,000 per year and increasing to £29,000 whilst acting as a deputy manager to cover maternity leave + Discounted Childcare and other benefits.
