Nursery Deputy Manager

Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of a unique arts-based term-time Nursery based near Camberwell, London. They are looking to recruit a passionate and experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join their friendly team in helping shape the learning experiences for the children at the nursery.

Essentials

  1. Level 3/4 CACHE Childcare qualification or equivalent
  2. Significant experience of leading in a nursery.
  3. Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  4. Knowledge of SEND, Autism, and speech & language skills
  5. Excellent communication and organizational skills
  6. Familiarity with Tapestry and Wellcomm Speech & Language Assessment Criteria
  7. A proactive and caring individual with a love for education and the arts

Key Responsibilities

  1. Build meaningful relationships with children and their families
  2. Create a stimulating and safe learning environment
  3. Support daily routines and activities, including circle time and music
  4. Promote the well-being and development of every child
  5. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all safeguarding policies
