We are recruiting for a Nurse Team Leader - 11A Respiratory who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
You will be expected to demonstrate good effective leadership styles and be effective in managing teams, as well as ensuring that all patient quality indicators are achieved as well as providing support in a very busy multi-disciplinary environment to staff in order for them to obtain their competencies along with the relevant skills.
Provide excellent shift leadership and management of the designated ward/department when on duty, and lead a team of staff, in order to carry out delivery of care to a complex group of patients.
You will work collaboratively with the senior team in respiratory to deliver effective high quality safe patient centered care and will, when required, rotate between the respiratory support Unit and the ward as service needs dictate to gain invaluable experience participating in the respiratory environment.

You will support the continuing education, training and professional development for the respiratory staff, to promote the acquisition of new skills and knowledge ensuring that nursing staff acquire and maintain the professional standards and competencies when caring for people.
Act as a role model and provide supervision and leadership to nursing staff under the guidance of the Senior Sister/Charge Nurses ensuring high standards of patient care at all times challenging and ensuring others challenge poor practice.
You will act in such a way as to promote a positive image of the Trust at all times and as such may need to represent the Sister/Charge Nurse with key stakeholders to promote this.
