Nursery Practitioner

We are looking for enthusiastic and qualified Early Years Practitioners, level 2 or above. Working with and looking after the learning and areas of development of our babies to preschool age, in a safe and enabling environment.

Full time - permanent (40 hr per week)

Licence/Certification:

* Level 2/3 Childcare (preferred)

Nursery Practitioner duties and responsibilities

The day-to-day duties and responsibilities of the Nursery Practitioners vary according to the type of facility they choose, but can include:

1. Keeping a record of the children's progress to share with parents and other carers
2. Building and maintaining relationships with parents and other carers to facilitate the daily learning and care of the children
3. Providing support to other nursery staff members
4. Creating an environment that meets the needs of the children by considering their cultural and medical needs
5. Advising the Nursery Manager about concerns relating to a child or parent while respecting confidentiality requirements
6. Adhering to the nursery's policies and procedures, as well as legislative requirements relating to child care
7. Maintaining high standards for safety, cleanliness and hygiene
8. Creating fun and educational activities for the children under their care
