Job Title: Nurse Functional Assessor

About You:

Join Medacs Healthcare as a PIP Clinical Assessor (Registered Nurse) and use your clinical expertise in a rewarding hybrid role based in York. As an experienced Registered Nurse (RN), you'll assess, discuss, and report on how conditions impact daily living through face-to-face and telephone assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strong report writing and communication skills
  2. Excellent organisation and time management
  3. Proficiency in typing and IT systems
  4. Commitment to integrity and high-quality service
Essential Qualifications:
  1. Current, unrestricted NMC registration
  2. Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), or Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD)
  3. Applications also welcome from HCPC Registered Paramedics, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists
  4. Minimum 1-year post-registration UK experience (NHS or private healthcare)
