I am instructed with an excellent opportunity for an NQ Employment Lawyer (Solicitor/CILEx) to join one of the most recognised firms in the Yorkshire region. This is a role which is the result of an incredible period of growth and offers an opportunity for the successful candidate to engage in a healthy mix of both contentious and non-contentious work depending on your particular interests and experience to date.


The ideal candidate will be someone who is currently working within a private practice employment law team. However, my client might be open to candidates who might be looking to switch practice area if they can demonstrate that they have had previous employment law experience either as a paralegal/trainee solicitor/qualified lawyer. Any candidates in this latter category, however, must have attained said experience within the last 6-12 months as this opportunity is not suitable for candidates looking for a complete retrain opportunity.


My client has a high degree of flexibility when it comes to hybrid and flexible working and they can be accommodating when it comes to working hours in the office depending on individual circumstances. Ideally, candidates will be based within commutable distance of my client's central Leeds office but they would also be open to applications from candidates based in and around the Huddersfield and/or Wakefield areas who might wish to also utilise office space in these locations.
