Newly Qualified Employment Solicitor

BCL Legal are working on an exciting opportunity which has arisen for a Newly Qualified (NQ) Employment Solicitor to join a leading firm at their Northampton office. This is a fantastic role for a solicitor looking to build and develop their career within a supportive and dynamic environment.

The firm is seeking a highly motivated individual who is eager to take on a diverse and varied caseload, working across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The successful candidate will be provided with excellent mentoring and development opportunities, with genuine scope for career progression.

Responsibilities: As an NQ Employment Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of employer and employee clients, with the opportunity to handle a broad range of employment law matters. These will include:

1. Assisting with Modern Slavery Act compliance.
2. Supporting on projects such as restructuring, changes to terms and conditions of employment, and redundancy exercises.
3. Providing advice on operational HR issues.
4. Assisting with data protection compliance.
5. Representing clients in employment tribunals.

The firm's diverse client base includes SMEs, OMBs, and listed companies, providing exposure to a wide range of industries and employment law issues.

This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ solicitor to take on real responsibility and gain exposure to high-quality work. You'll have the chance to work closely with experienced colleagues across different teams, including Corporate & Commercial, Commercial Litigation, and Commercial Property.
