We are currently seeking a NPD Administrator / NPD Support / NPD Assistant for a food company based in Bristol. Reporting to the senior New Product Development technologist, this role offers an opportunity to join a rapidly growing, innovative Food Manufacturer. The company has award-winning experience creating, rolling out, and managing bespoke customer food-on-the-move solutions.

The role of the New Product Development Assistant will involve:

1. Supporting the NPD Technologists whilst products are being launched.
2. Working closely with the Spec team, New Product Development team, and Process team.
3. Organising samples.
4. Admin (including Data Entry) with a vision to find ways to reduce these tasks.
5. Creating specifications.
6. Arranging couriers and packing up samples for delivery to customers.
7. Participating in customer and Supplier research days.
8. Creating product presentations.
9. Demonstrating approved products to the business.
10. Preparing products and packaging.
11. Stock management.
12. Liaising with other departments.
13. Monitoring and maintaining the NPD/NPI process.
14. Ensuring internal and external stakeholders are on track.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a Food Degree.
• Have previously worked within the food industry.
• Be confident using Microsoft Office.
• Have an understanding of specification systems.
